“Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. Very nice and helpful staff. Oh, and the breakfast is well worth the money. Everything is tasty.”

“De kamers zijn mooi en netjes, de bedden goed. Fijne kussens. Wij zaten op de 11e verdieping, fijn idee dat niemand zonder kamersleutel de lift kan bedienen. Met de auto zit je zo weer op de snelweg en het parkeren is ruim voldoende. Het zwembad is heerlijk, niet groot. 1 saunacabine, een stoomcabine en een sneeuwdouche. Verwacht dus geen heel uitgebreide sauna. Wij hebben een ontspannende massage genomen, deze was heerlijk. Ik zou het iedereen aanraden. ”

“Excellent stay! Room was very comfortable and clean, great SPA facilities and a very good breakfast. We had a dinner reservation at the restaurant that wowed us on arrival but left very disappointed after the meal. Menu was disappointing and overpriced. Need to hire a new chef and less more attentive staff. ”

“Great hostel in Alkmaar. I arrived by train and everywhere is walkable in town. Small room but you have everything needed. Small Kitchen to share on the floor. But no soundproof. Recommend to visit Kennemerpark!”
