“Central location odor Cape Breton and the central/coastal areas. Stunning place right on the lake. Sunrises and moonshine on the lake. Hosts are wonderful. Planning our next trip.”

“The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck.”

“The house was quite nice overall. A little disappointing that the woodstove didn't work, especially as the weather was cool and wet. The water is quite soft, but tastes good; and the water heater works fine. We spent a chilly first night as the baseboard heaters were set to 10C (50F), and the control buttons are really tiny and hard to notice. A heads up from the owner would have been helpful. It was plenty warm once I found the controls. The setting is beautiful, and the stairs down to the lake……

“Lovely cottage with an amazing view. The host thought of everything including a well stocked pantry in case you don’t get groceries before you arrive. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly recommend it to our family and friends.”

“The property had an amazing view. It had both indoor and outdoor furniture to make it relaxing. The only problem was how hot it was inside with no air conditioning. The big windows allow for a great view but also let in full sun during the whole day. Open windows and fans helped but only in the evenings. and no air conditioning”

“Ce fut un très beau séjour dans ce magnifique chalet. Très propre et les lits sont très confortable s. Par contre, pour aller visiter plusieurs endroits de la région, nous avons trouvé le trajet en voiture un peu long pour rejoindre la route principale surtout lorsque nous revenions en soirée! ”
