The Divi Dutch was clean and beautiful. Plenty to do for a family. Unfortunately 2 of my kids became very ill with a stomach bug and we weren’t able to leave the room. We ended up cutting our vacation short by two days just to get them home as they were very dehydrated and sick. The staff and management front desk stated that they would be willing to comp us the days that we did not use and part of the inclusive plan that was unused. I have travel protection and travel insurance. unfortunately, they have not been willing to hold that end and are not answering the travel insurance. This is very disappointing. We have visited the Divi at other locations in the past. This was unfortunately an awful awful experience with my kids being so sick and not being able to use anything or enjoy the paradise that we were in needless to say a complete nightmare and so expensive to have not been able to eat or enjoy any of the amenities Sadly The Divi Dutch has not been responsive and holding their end of that they said they would offer- we would’ve liked to come back to return someday

Great for families and convenient location just steps from the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Had some issues with our check in process (room key and all-inclusive bracelets weren’t working), but after that the service was great at restaurants and bars. The beach walk to the adjoining Divi properties was beautiful and easy access to the restaurants in the all-inclusive. The Divi Dutch food/drink options are limited and closed around 7:30pm, which was a bit early. The pools are well maintained and kids had a blast in them, along with the resort’s beach front for more private sand time than the public beaches. Would stay again!

No elevators, no cash exchange at other Divis, no coffee offered. You have to buy your own, no use of water accessories unless you book all inclusive. Very deceiving and not very accommodating!

Poor service. We were taken by shuttle to our room and the driver pointed to the third floor and said your room is up there. No elevator. As an afterthought he asked if we wanted him to help carry our bags up there. The room was way below average for the price; expect Motel 6 furnishings. Limited amenities. If you aren’t all-inclusive there is only one place you can eat on the premises and that place is only open for breakfast and lunch. You can’t go to any of the beach side bars or restaurants unless you purchase a prefilled debit card and you lose any money that you didn’t spend on that card at the end of your stay.

Overall the property was nice. Much larger than expected, which made it difficult to appreciate all of "DIVI". Staff communication was less than desirable. Lots of confusion on restaurants and locations and where we could and couldn't (without the use of a gift card) go. More information in the rooms on the resort would be useful. Restaurants/hours/happy hour time/location etc.

Started out badly with a major flooding of our first room apparently from a shower backup, even though we hadn’t used the shower. Water covered entire bathroom and crept into the bedroom area. Not welcome after traveling all day! Front desk took a little convincing to even move us to a similar room and didn’t offer more than a mild apology.

Would have been 5 stars across the board if it wasn’t for the contradictions about what is included in the all inclusive packages. The information provided on the website for the signature package sounds nice until you get to check in and realize only about half of those restaurants are actually included. You still have access to the other restaurants but the overall experience would have been so much better if the whole list provided on the website was actually accurate. Overall the beautiful location and amazing staff made up for such a minor inconvenience. Will definitely be returning in the future.

When booking I wasn’t aware there were multiple other resorts on the same grounds. So upon arrival I was only able to eat and see certain resorts and restaurants, and not all they offered. When I booked I wasn’t given a “signature stay option” so that is what I didn’t like about my stay.

My only dislike of the property was that the pool would close by 8 and that the pool side bar would close at 7:30. This is a great family property. Very clean. Everyone was so nice and helpful! I went with my 8 month old son and he was a very popular boy with the staff! But like I said the pool bar closed by 7:30, so by the time we were able to put the baby down (my mom was with us to watch him) we would have to go all the way across the resort to get a drink. The food was out of this world and so were the cocktails! We would definitely come back!

I booked a family trip at Divi Aruba for five days in January. We took private transportation to and from the airport I had a condo across the street rented with a view of the golf course and two rooms at Divi Dutch. I had very little problems, booking restaurants for five, although I was very persistent with the app and using the waitlist as well. The service was very, very good at every restaurant. The staff was very welcoming. I never had a problem getting a chair at any of the pools or near the beach. I can’t wait to return.
