This property has everything you need for an amazing getaway in Aruba. Located on Eagle Beach, it’s not too busy. There’s tons of beach chairs provided by the hotel and the staff on the beach make you feel safe leaving your belongings there while you go in the water. I’d recommend exploring restaurants close by and on Palm Beach as there’s tons of options. The food options at this resort were also incredible. We will definitely be back!!

I booked JOIA Iberostar because I just fell in love with the beautiful pictures online and the amazing reviews. We were immediately warmly greeted by the staff in the lobby and assisted to our rooms with a thorough tour and walk through. The room was beautiful and so was our private pool. My partner and I spent the first day on the resort and in our room. By the next day, we were ready to start our day. We were playing music from our handheld speaker at exactly 1pm when we met with some knocks on our door, followed by security telling us that there was a music complaint. We had to turn our music off at 1pm. We did so politely and continued on with our day. The very next day we were met with knocks on our door yet again. This time, it was a complaint for marijuana which we did not have or use. We let them search our room immediately and they found nothing. Being that we were one of the only black people on the resort, it was starting to feeling like discrimination and racism. We made a complaint to management and was told that we would be accommodated and would receive complimentary. We were not accommodated nor received anything for the harassment. We also paid cash on many occasions and they still charged it to my room. We ended up spending way more money than was needed and no one reported the cash transactions. The food was absolutely terrible. They were terribly understaffed. I waited 10 minutes for ketchup, and my burger was COLD. I would never come back to this resort.

Nouvel hôtel avec infrastructure toute neuve. Bel établissement bien situé en face d’Eagle Beach et à proximité d’un grand supermarché. Chambre spacieuse et bien agencée, dispose D’un jacuzzi sur la terrasse, belles piscines et transats de qualité. Petit déjeuner de qualité et bien diversifié. Dommage cependant que les travaux ne soient vraiment pas encore terminés alors que l’hôtel est ouvert depuis quelques mois maintenant. Occasionne bruit, poussière et certains services pas Encore vraiment opérationnels. L’avantage est par contre d’avoir un hôtel très peu fréquenté pour l’instant vu qu’une partie des chambres ne sont pas Encore terminées. Du coup, calme et aucun problème de place à la piscine et à la plage. Personnel encore en rodage et pas Encore toujours bien au top. Très rigide parfois. Exemples : pas Le Droit de choisir librement sa table pour le petit déjeuner, conserver la chambre une ou deux heures de plus vu vol retour en fin d’après midi pas possible sauf si on paie un supplément à l’heure alors que l’hôtel est presque vide… Bref un bon séjour dans ce nouvel établissement 5 étoiles qui pourrait être une structure adult only et serait alors encore mieux selon moi. Dommage pour les Nuisances liées aux travaux mais la contrepartie est de profiter d’une infrastructure neuve avec très peu de monde.

This is a great property but still under construction and some service issues to work through. Friendly staff but seemed unsure of what they should be doing. Some construction noise in the middle of the night as well as random fire alarms in the middle of the night. Beautiful resort and great location. Hot tubs by the pools weren’t working and the hot water in the room would get really hot randomly…hot water issues.

Truly the best hotel I’ve stayed on any island! Aruba knows how to do it when it comes to this hotel. Although it is 4-5 months old it is extremely beautiful. The staff are ALL super friendly and catering to our needs. The walking distance to the beach with their services on the beach is exquisite. Cleanliness is 10/10. The hot tub on the balcony with the view of the ocean is 10/10 experience. Their spa is gorgeous! Their buffet is 10/10. Just wow. I will be staying here for my next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay at JOIA Aruba Iberostar. The resort is brand new and is still experiencing some construction. With this, there was some construction noise that was a bit annoying. The resort was only about 2/3 occupancy, so chairs and cabanas were in abundance. There were only two open restaurants and the service was OK. The location for us was the key. We had access to their beachfront on gorgeous Eagle Beach. The staff associated with providing chairs on the beach were amazing. There were a few restaurants within walking distance that were very good. We took cab rides into the high-rise hotel zone a couple of times and cab fair was only $10 per trip. Our room was very comfortable and completely updated, a bonus with staying in a brand new resort. Bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay at this resort again.

Very nice new hotel with a lot of potential. But the there are still many problems, such as leaking sink, not flushing toilet, air conditioning stop working, etc. all can be explained and excused as the building is only a few months old. However, the management is ineffective and inept. They don’t know how to manage problems properly. Calling the front desk from the room took over 20 minutes and eventually gave up and walked to the lobby, which is quite a distance and annoyance. Complaining to anyone including the manager is a waste of time. They either don’t care or not capable. Most of the staff is very nice and welcoming with a smile, especially the umbrella guys that work on the bench. But at the end of the day you feel like better management could significantly improve your overall experience. Will try a different hotel next time. It’s unfortunate because the building and rooms are very nice.

This hotel had everything you could ever want and need to make it a nice little getaway with your significant other/spouse. It is so beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. The rooms are amazing with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony. The infinity pool was so nice to look out at the beach while swimming. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and on site. The beach was easy to access and always convenient to find a spot with free chairs and umbrellas. They even have sun bum suntan lotion on the beach for you to use at your convenience as well as ice cold flavored water filled with fruits. We will definitely be back!
