When i booked the room there was supposed to be a pool and sauna, unfortunately that wasnt in service, as the restaurant was closed, it said there was guest laundry, there was none and no vending machines .only ice was available

The place was nice and had an ocean view but the hotel is outdated and we found some mold in the ceiling inside the bathroom corner.

The room was covered in dust (ceiling, furniture, floor), furniture torn, rusted, and scratched up. Sheets look yellowish, spiderwebs, bugs flying around. Crumbs on floor and counters from previous guests. Even the remote control was missing the batttery cover. Did not look anything like the pictures on the website when I purchased the room.

Worst room I have ever stayed in at this price point. 1. Restaurant and bar closed permanently. 2. Gas fireplace in room broken. 3. Lamp plugin and outlet on nightstand broken. I didn’t use it concerned it could cause a fire. 4. I could loudly hear someone walking and moving a chair above me. 5. Several places where paint was scraped and needed repair. I found out that the property is going to close permanently in about a year and be demolished. Obviously they are not maintaining issues that need to be fixed.

Loved that there were 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, loved being able to watch the ocean from the room amd having access to walk right out to the beach. Would like TV's in the bedrooms. It was very outdated but i would stay again.

The views are absolutley beautiful, but you have to share entry to deck and our neighbor was disruptive and kept peeking in so we had to close curtains and windows. The resort was pretty empty so they should space out rooms that don't share deck access when applicable.

We chose this as a last minute replacement for an Airbnb that cancelled on us three days before the trip. I was happy to grab one of the larger rooms with no stairs and jetted tub. What took our breath away was the view from the balcony! We slept with a window open to hear the waves all night. There were some issues- the bed was like sleeping on a rock. The property is in obvious need of some maintenance- creaky wooden walkways, a luggage drag mark on the floor of our entryway. The website indicated a restaurant, pool and hot tub. The restaurant is permanently closed as is the hot tub. Frankly, i didn't care about the hot tub with a private jetted tub but it might matter to others, the latches to the windows are coming out and had to be handled gently. On the positives- the room was clean, the view was wonderful, The staff was amazing! Every single person was super friendly, energetic, and helpful. I never felt a request was treated like an inconvenience. They apologized for the website not being updated by Clarion. Apparently, Clarion acquired the property and has done very little to update or renovate. The staff is doing what they can to maintain with little support from what I observed. They didn’t complain, they didn’t show resentment, instead they did their best to give us the best experience possible. Honestly, even with the bed being a rock, I would stay again for the view and the staff. I would prefer an upgraded mattress but I’d still go back!

Beautiful location on the beach. Property is very dated and has not been kept up maintenance repairs obviously don't know what they're doing. Holes in walls were impropriately patched and then painted so not even painted The shower had black mold around the top of the tub they corrected it by caulking it. Windows had no screens when we ask the front desk manager she said none of the rooms had screens. We ended up going to a hardware store and getting screening and duct tape so we could open up the windows and hear the ocean without being inundated by mosquitoes. Check in went very well my person was very helpful. We were told they would be renovating this year possibly tearing down and rebuilding. Pool had sediment and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while. Since it's since it's indoors I don't know how I could possibly have gotten that dirty.

The room was very nice. I would stay here again. Some of the room was a little strange like the balcony was shared access. The one window was broken and could not be opened. All in all a nice stay and nice views.

The property had a great view but it is very run down. They allow pets and the room above us sounded like a herd of elk running back and forth all night.

Honestly, the only thing this hotel has going for it is the view of the ocean. The beach was beautiful and clean. The room was filthy, the screen was ripped off the patio door, the handle was missing on the sliding glass door, the light cover was missing on the light above the shower leaving the electrical exposed, and there were vertical rungs missing from the balcony safety rail and others were very loose. The firepit had an empty propane tank, so it was unusable. The restaurant/bar is permanently closed, which had we know ahead of time, we would have chosen a different place to stay. The hotel appears to be managed by a team of young men - even the cleaning staff was comprised by young men. I don't think they know how to clean. When we complained to the front desk, they told us they would refund some of our money but were not able to because we booked through a third party, Expedia. They recommended we have Expedia call them and only then would they give us a partial refund. We are thoroughly disappointed in our stay at this hotel.

The restaurant is now closed from our prior stay. Even the one next door is closed. Paid $200 for one night, others paid $125, disappointing that no place to eat/drink. Planned one coming for anniversary every year, now need to change venues. Hoping for some kind of refund
