This delightfully appointed efficiency cottage is conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Oriental, easily within walking distance to anywhere in the Village. Sailors, adventurers, weekend warriors, artists and those who are just looking to get away will enjoy this ramped, dog friendly efficiency apartment located in the heart of the Village of Oriental. Come for a few nights, a week or more. This property is within walking distance to the Oriental Harbor, a coffee shop, a variety of restaurants, a couple of art galleries, shopping, brewery, marinas, Oriental boat ramp and more.

Serendipity Cottage features an open combination living, kitchen, dining and bedroom with queen bed and full bath with shower. Kitchenette has everything you need for your stay including refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and Keurig, cups, plates, utensils, and basic cookware. WiFi and Internet TV is complimentary. Linens and towels are provided for your stay. Off street parking is available in shared parking lot.

Nearest boat ramp is located less than a mile away in Oriental. Driveway has plenty of room to park your vehicle and boat/trailer.

About our Village - Oriental, NC, known as the Sailing Capital of North Carolina and located in beautiful Pamlico County. This scenic year round boating destination is great for anyone looking to getaway for the weekend, or an extended stay. This bike, sailor, and family friendly hideaway is known for its breath taking waterfront views, great fishing, steady winds, and community events. Our local hospitality will welcome you and your family to experience local events such as our annual Croaker festival, Dragon Run, Community Yard Sale, Music Festivals, Farmer's Market, and more. While you are here we invite you to dine in one of our local restaurants where fresh seafood is always on the menu. Wake up with a nice cup of hot coffee and enjoy the morning views of the harbor at our local coffee shop. While this may seem like a small town, we have a lot to offer! Oriental has something for everyone and people of all ages. We look forward to being your next getaway. If you are interested in any recommendations for boat tours, power/ sail boat rentals, fishing trips, kayaks, or any other recommendations please give us a call and we will be happy to help.

From Oriental you can take advantage of day trips to the beach, Outer Banks, historic New Bern or to quaint coastal towns with the best that seafood restaurants have to offer. This area offers the best in fishing, boating, kayaking and paddle boarding twelve months out of the year

**One dog is allowed under 25 lbs. Pet fee is $25 per day per dog. Pet fee is collected by the host prior to arrival**

Our little cottage
Our up coming reunion may have been filled with planning but finding this little gem was a breeze. The ownership communicated well and not a note was missed. The property was amazing, clean, cute and had every little finishing touch to make us feel right at home. The location was perfect- right across from the Harbor. Perfect sunrises and sunsets. Lots of sailboats to watch as well as many birds. Next door to 2 restaurants!

My Staty
I loved the cottage! I will suggest a few things: The front door knob is loose and the doors do not align to use the dead bolt. Having a small table and chairs where the sitting chairs would be a nice option for those that could use more table space to eat as well as use a laptop computer.

Lovely Cottage in a Beautiful and Quaint Village

Cozy Cottage
Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We requested a late (11:00pm) check-in and when we arrived the cottage was lit up and easily accessible. The location allowed us to walk to restaurants, a local brewery, and a coffee shop. We will definitely stay here again during our visit to the area.

Quaint and clean
We really enjoyed staying in Serendipity II. It was decorated so cute for the fall and Halloween season. It made it very homey and cozy. Plenty of blankets since it was cool the couple of days we were there. Had everything we needed to make a couple of meals and hot beverages. And we even enjoyed the lower covered area by doing some yoga. Great little place. Thanks again for having us!

Great Place to Stay
Nice clean and comfortable. Cute and decorated with care. So many throw pillows and soft blankets. Right downtown, walkable to everywhere. If there’s a live band at the Toucan, you’re going to be hear it. There’s everything you need, more like a hotel than someone sharing a their space with you. Still think a bath mat would be good, towels can be slippery.

Called to ask for bathroom mat so floor wouldn’t get wet, also extra washcloths, got neither. Need somewhere to hang wet towels to dry. No closet to hang clothes. What was with all the blankets on back of bathroom door? Need better ice trays, one very small broken one was available. Lady who helped with urgent care info very nice & helpful.. all & all nice clean little place.

We absolutely loved this VRBO! It was in an amazing location, close to so many great spots & the water view is beautiful. Communication was awesome with the property manager. When we arrived, check in was super easy and the house was clean & smelled amazing. Definitely recommend!

We plan to come back
Very happy with overall stay. Biggest thing for us was the way everything was charged. Would have preferred to have the option to pay everything in full instead of a split payment. Also, we had questions about the price breakdown—but Kalie was super responsive and got back to us within a few hours exactly what we needed. 5/5 recommend. Improvement recs: a full size trash can, baking or pizza tray, a place to hang coats. Place was clean, instructions were easy to follow. The place to pick up keys is literally across the street.
