This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
When we arrived at around 11:00 pm, we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for someone to show up at the reception.
The entire property looked old and poorly maintained, with dirty carpets, rusty looking doorknobs and strange-smelling hallways.
When we entered the room, the smell was terrible, it smelled like mold. The bathroom floor was loose, the furniture was dirty and I haven't even gotten to the worst of it yet, I killed two cockroaches, one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom.
I was staying for two days, I requested a refund because we wanted to leave but the hotel refused to refund us. The receptionist, in an attempt to solve the problem (he was helpful at least) offered us, as they said, the best room in the hotel and said he would send pest control to check the old room. We moved to the new room, the smell wasn't as bad as the first one but it still smelled bad.
All of us, my wife, two daughters and I had allergies because of the smell/dust.
The elevators were an adventure in themselves, it was a test for the Hollywood Studios Tower of Terror, the lights flickered and the elevator went up and down shaking, my wife screamed a few times.
The breakfast was reasonable.
What left me with a huge doubt and very worried, with the hotel and also with Expedia were the reviews, they were good but in no way matched reality, makes me believe that they are fake, which makes me wonder how Expedia validates these reviews.
