This was a horrible experience. We booked a room with 2 beds for 2 people. Upon checking in on Wednesday we saw that there was only 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel and the toilet was dirty. Asked the front desk clerk if we could get an additional wash cloth and towel. He said there were none available. I asked if they could provide additional ones in the morning with maid service and was told, "we will see what we can do." Thursday night we got to the hotel and saw there was no towels or wash cloth provided. Went to the front desk and was told there were no hand towels or wash cloths. Again asked if we could be provided an additional wash cloth and hand towel on Friday with maid service. Got back to the hotel in the evening and again no towels or wash cloths were provided and no maid service despite having asked. Saturday we get back to the hotel for our last night and we were finally provided one additional wash cloth and hand towel that we asked for 4 days previously. The other thing that added to the horrible experience was the beds. They obviously had been slept on for a long time and are past the time for replacement. Literally sunk into the middle of the bed.

Our stay at this hotel was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. The photos posted online are completely misleading and do not reflect the reality of the property. As soon as we walked in, we were hit with a strong, musty mildew smell that made it clear cleanliness was not a priority here. We checked into our first room only to find it had never been cleaned. The floor was covered in crumbs, the bathroom was filthy, and there was hair everywhere. I immediately went down to speak with the front desk—while the receptionist was polite and switched our room, the second room had the exact same issues. Dirty, unsanitary, and clearly not cleaned. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, I was told there wasn’t one on site. We were switched again to a third room, which was slightly better, but still unacceptable—the entire room reeked of cigarette smoke and the toilet didn’t work properly. To top it off, we never received functioning room keys because the door lock was broken, and staff had no idea how to fix it. By the time we settled in (after switching rooms multiple times), it was 11:30 PM and we had nowhere else to go. I went down again early the next morning to check out and finally speak to a manager—still no manager available. I’m currently still waiting to hear back regarding a refund, which I believe is more than justified given this horrendous experience. Avoid this hotel at all costs—it is unsanitary, poorly managed, and nothing like what is advertised.

For the money we paid it was ok as a cheap stay before a cruise. It was actually better than anticipated after all the bad reviews. Tap in tub had a steady stream of water all night long. Such a waste of water. Having said that it was decent value for an inexpensive hotel

My room was not properly cleaned or maintained at all. I found a bottle cap near the bed. Almost every common used surface has visible smudges or dust, I.e. TV remote, light switches, etc. There was dust or dirt in every corner. Lastly, the bathroom was really old and had low budget repairs done to the tub which also seemed somewhat unclean. I gave a star only because the towels and sheets on the bed seemed clean (although old) and the hotel and housekeeping staff were approachable. I would be afraid to touch anything here. Thank God I brought Clorox wipes.
