This spacious and sunlit contemporary post and beam home with cathedral ceilings is ideally located near town and privately situated on a hill. It is within walking distance of downtown Orleans (dining, shopping and Cape League Baseball opp games) with close proximity to town landings, Nauset Beach, and so much more! The long shell driveway leads through a newly planted orchard to the top of a hill to the front gate that opens up to a secluded and serene yard.
The home has three levels of living, and an expansive exterior front deck and rear patio with custom pergola that is located off the kitchen which makes perfect indoor/outdoor entertaining space for small family gatherings. A grand brick gas fireplace in the living room opens to the ceiling for those cool nights. The lofted third floor area offers additional living space, and there is a walkout finished lower level. There are 3 bedrooms 2 loft rooms sleeping areas with beds for a total of 10 guests comfortably.
Amenities include a dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker and an outdoor shower - linens and bathroom towels are provided. Beach toys and games, beach umbrellas and beach chairs, beach towels are available.
Rentals are generally weekends only with three night minimums July through August. Prices average $1,750/night in July and $2,000/night in August. There is no television and WiFi can be turned on if desired. Newly installed aluminum roof minimizes EMF exposure. Graham Stetzer filters installed minimize dirty electricity. Water quality report on request. Orleans water is quite good for the Cape as tested from this tap. Kitchen sink and shower water filters installed. Spa and shower products will be restocked in all bathrooms and showers upon your arrival. Organic garden produce available to pick in season. Please specify desired produce with your reservation and if possible we will plant to coordinate harvest time with your stay. This is a true sanctuary. Looking for more activities besides time on the beach? Explore the beautiful bike trails nearby. We only have a few reviews since we have done many renovations and could not rent out for the last several years as major repairs were underway. Ideally we would like to have the same weeks with the same renters booked each year and have these few be accommodated according to their needs.
