“Sociable and comfortable holiday home with everything you need for a self-catering holiday in the sun. Location is fab as long as you have cars to get about: Sitges was our favourite town in the area (for cafes, shops, museums and general atmosphere) and Barcelona is easy to get to, too. We also enjoyed a Cava tour in Villafranka. October was still hot enough to enjoy the villa's terraces and the unheated pool for short swims. Beds were very comfy. There are some great walks starting right on the doorstep and an abundance of interesting places to discover locally. “We booked this house for a weekend city break in Barcelona. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly want or need. If you are restricted to a small bag there is no need to worry about packing shower gel/shampoo/laundry liquid/dishwasher tabs as everything was there. Amazingly well stocked. The only slight issue we had was that we couldn’t find a train that got us into Barcelona in less than 55 minutes. It felt like a lot of our precious time was spent on a train. Also no sign of……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cal Talaia. Teresa and Uli were great hosts. It felt as though we had the entire village to ourselves. The apartment was well equipped with an extensive kitchen, large dining table and comfortable beds. A great place for rest, relaxation, walking (our dogs loved it too) and appreciating the beautiful scenery. We basked in the winter sun.
