While the rooms have been renovated, the older furniture remains, which unfortunately contributes to that familiar "North American motel" smell—something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to scents.
The continental breakfast was underwhelming and very much the standard fare: a selection of items that lean heavily toward high sugar and low nutrition. If you're mindful of your health or blood sugar levels, you might find it frustrating. The one exception—boiled eggs—were unfortunately overdone.
On the plus side, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made a noticeable difference and was a highlight of the experience.
Parking was quite busy during our visit. I do wish the hotel encouraged guests with compact vehicles to use the designated small car spots, as it would make the lot more manageable for everyone.
Overall, the hotel is functional and service-oriented, but there are a few areas that could use thoughtful improvements.
