“Nice location,takes tram no.2 to messeplaza.hotel is about 3 mins walk. The room is a little bit small for three,but it is a good hotel. Most important of all,the staff are friendly and glad to help.”

“La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica, facile da raggiungere e ben servita, oltre che i trasporti efficienti e sempre in perfetto orario, sono presenti supermercati e negozi. Lungo il fiume vi sono vari locali, affollati durante il tramonto. La struttura è molto carina, stanza spaziosa e luminosa. In struttura vi erano inoltre varie persone che parlavano italiano e la colazione insulsa era buona. Lo staff è molto cordiale ed efficiente. ”

“Wir hatten ein großes, ruhiges und sauberes Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, und die Lage war für uns optimal, um Basel zu erkunden. Wir werden in Zukunft wieder nach Basel reisen und haben vor, dieses Hotel dann erneut zu buchen.”

“No Air conditioning it would be very uncomfortable if temps outside exceeded 85 degrees. However the breakfast bar was superb there is a walkway bridge to this quaint town in France a shopping mall a park on the Rhine the tram into Basel all within walking steps from the hotel.”

“原本打算住喺瑞士，但發覺這間德國酒店距離瑞士只有15分鐘車程，價錢又非常合理還包括早餐，早餐非常豐富，比起我在巴黎五星級酒店還好。房間亦非常闊落，如果揸車絕對值得推薦。”

“ Very helpful staff, lovely hotel”

“The room is very spacious and comfortable with most of the necessary items included ! The bed is comfortable and big enough. I chose Junior suit for family stay which would not make us feel crowded. Though the hotel is no located right near Basel SBB station, it just takes 5mins bus (no.30 at station C next to Basel station) to arrive hotel. The surroundings of the hotel are silent and beautiful. I love this stay ! Moreover, the hotel provided us a card per head for taking the transport in Basel……

“Thanks to the receptionist Samuel for his excellent service and recommendations for local dining restaurants. All the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful with personal warmth. The hotel itself is at great location, clean room, and free minibar provided. We had a wonderful experience staying in Marthof Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time when we come back. ”

“Hotel location is good, very near the train station. the service is good. when I request the additional bed in the room. they changed another bigger room to us. Even we have 3 adults and 1 children. They would not ask us to book one more room.”

“It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions”
