“We had a very enjoyable stay at Playa Caracol. The unit was in excellent condition and well stocked with essentials. We suffered a number of service interruptions because of loss of electricity and internet. But these were suffered by all people at the resort. The property manager, Juan Bethancourth was an excellent help and helped immediately any time we had a problem. There was one major drawback - namely - the road from the main highway to the resort. It is about an hour and a half from the airport and transportation isn't cheap because of the distance. You can expect to pay a minimum of 100 each way. There was spices, Ziploc bags, multiple condiments in the refrigerator, shampoo and conditioner, etc...
