It’s a university residence, open to the public during the quiet summer months. Read the Expedia description. Its honest. Don’t go expecting hotel amenities. That’s why it’s far more affordable than anything in the vicinity. Conveniently located near everything you’d want to see in Ottawa. Imagine you’re a student and you’ll be happy as a clam.

The price versus quality was AMAZING! I was not expecting too much but layout was spacious with 2 closed rooms & a closed bathroom. There was a fridge, and microwave in the kitchen area & a tv with roku in each room!.There were also vending machines in the lobby (though the drink one wasnt accepting coins). Parking was easy although l it filled up at night and there were maybe 3-4 spots left. My only issues: the shower pressure was very high and the water came out pretty hard. Also the metal bed frames are very sharp & my 5 year old scraped her leg pretty badly walking around the bed 😞 I ended up putting face clothes on the corners of the frame. I would still suggest this place hands down as its one of the best prices in town!

Difficile de communiquer avec la réception. Au moins 10 mins d’attente en ligne. Pas d’eau en me levant le 1e matin et la seule ascenseur en fonction ne fonctionnait pas. Et aucun avis ou explication. J’ai dû appeler 2 fois pour avoir des suivis et ça m’a beaucoup ralenti sur mon horaire le matin. Manquait d’effets de cuisine dans la chambre : aucun ustensile, verre ou tasse à notre disposition (sauf des verres en carton). Et il y avait beaucoup de poussière sur le plancher. Mais l’emplacement était parfait.

The mattresses is supported by a basic metal frame with sharp corners. Because there was too little space between the bedframe and the wall, I hit my knee with the metal frame corner and got a bloody scratch from a, what I could see under further inspection was a RUSTED bed corner.

Property was okay-ish. Certainly adequate for the price. However, signage regarding parking within and around the main lot is abysmal and the need for a permit was not even mentioned at check-in. Received an $80 ticket that could have been avoided if the accommodation asked the question literally every hotel I've ever been to has asked: "will you be parking a vehicle during your stay?". The property and Expedia were both no help in resolving the situation. Overall, a terrible end to a merely okay stay.

This place is more than adequate for our family. It was clean, the parking was available and cheap, and it's walking distance from Parliament Hill. The mattress was not the most comfortable but it was acceptable. If I'm in Ottawa again in the summer, I'd like to stay here again.

Very close to LRT. Walking distance to canal, downtown Ottawa. The university grounds are open and pleasant to walk through. Room is typical of a student dormitory. There is an odour in the room that might be from fabric/air freshener which is not good for people with sensitivities or allergies.
