The location right on the ocean front was amazing. Access by the beach to the devils couldron was cool. The grounds were immaculate. The views from the room were good. The room itself was small and dated. The front desk gave us directions to stairs to get to our room that didn't exist.

Inn at Otter Crest was a magical place! Quiet and secluded tucked away in the Sitka Spruce. Beautiful accommodations. Stunning Views! Pool and Jacuzzi was wonderful! Very clean and peaceful. Staff was friendly and helpful. A hidden gem! We highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit.

The property is beautiful, so many flowers and the views were great too. I loved waking up and going out on the balcony to watch the sun come up over the ocean. It feels secluded and in the woods while being close enough to cool things like Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Devil’s Punchbowl, the aquarium and dining. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, peaceful grounds and cute rooms. They're simple but clean and very well-equipped - our studio queen room had a nice full kitchen! Loved the beach access and walking trails to nearby attractions. I wish the adjoining doors between rooms had better noise control or insulation. We could hear our neighbors being intimate morning, noon, and night, and that detracted from an otherwise lovely stay.

We loved being surrounded by all the beautiful trees and wildlife. The walking paths were so cool. You could walk from your room to the outdoor pool then over to the restaurant and then down to the beach and see the duck pond on the way :)

This place has a fantastic view. This is a great place for a staycation and visit to town around. The map for the rooms and the identification of the roads to the buildings needs great improvements. It is not easy to find your room if one arrives late at night, especially when it is foggy and when there is no help to find your room but ONE map in the dark. It would have been nice if a staff could walk with us briefly (30s) to orient ourselves the beginning of the winding roads. Signs to different paths are often missing and ill-placed. There were a few dead insects on the carpet and half-used bath soap in the bathroom when I arrived my room. This place has great potential. The management needs to step in and think in the "shoes" of customers. Yes, it may be too expensive to replace the old rusty key-lock systems and the swelled doors that are hard to open and lock. However, the management can make the logistics for the stay more convenient and enjoyable.

Despite this being one of the best locations we stayed at on our 7-day motorcycle trip, the overall experience was terrible. The property as a whole is beautiful. The patio overlooking the ocean was perfect; however, the inside of our room (Bldg A, 107) was a huge downfall. The mattress is so worn out and squeeky that neither of us got a decent night sleep. You can feel / hear every movement. The outlet receptacles in the room are extremely worn out and wouldn't hold our chargers in place to charge devices. The icing on the cake was that the restaurant on-site is apparently closed Tues - Thurs. This is not advertised anywhere on their website, and was not disclosed to us ahead of time. Having to load back up and travel another 20 minutes south to find food (after all day of traveling) was extremely frustrating. I asked that the property manager to contact me after my visit, but that has not happened. It's been over a week. For the rates that we were charged on a week-night, it was a horrendous rip-off.

We would rate this a 10 stars if that was an option. The view was phenomenal!! The overall property and staff was amazing! Our room needed a little sprucing up decorating wise but was clean and provided what we needed. Having a restaurant within walking distance was an added plus. We were also able to take a trail to Devil's Punchbowl. The Inn was located about 9 miles north of Newport if a larger city is desired and approximately 6 miles from Depoe Bay.

Love the views! Property was quiet and nice! However, I found some hairs (4 long hairs about 3 inches and 3 short hairs about 1 inch) on my bed sheet. That was gross! Looked like bed sheets hadn’t been cleaned.

The Devli's Punchbowl and beach access were wonderful. There are quite a few stairs to the first levels but the property is gorgeous and the views cannot be beat when there isn't fog:) My kids loved the heated pool and ability to tidepool.

We have been staying here a number of times in the past 45 years. It is quiet and relaxing. The on-site restaurant is only open 4 days per week but great food available in towns 5 - 10 miles away.

The door connecting our room to the one next door had at least a 3" clearance and we could hear their music, conversations, and dishes clinging. It was awkward and uncomfortable to be without the standard level of privacy we are accustomed to having. There was also a constant gurgling noise coming from somewhere above the sleeping area. The room did not look anything like what was pictured. We paid $270 for a night away on our anniversary and we are extremely disappointed. We were asked to complete an exit survey which we did. At checkout, the hotel clerk suggested that we ask for a room with a door that is flush next time. Say what? Have not heard from the manager and it has been 3 days since our stay.
