The hotel is the level of a run-down Best western, if you know what I mean. Restaurant is pretty good. Bar is o.k too, but not too friendly bartender. Rooms can be cleaner, but overall reasonable. Bed-mattresses are probably very old, as you fell like sleeping in an hammock, maybe because of years of very obese people staying in them. Restaurant menu is ridicules, with some of the same items appearing twice, with different price… You order something from the menu that is priced at $4 and later they bring you the bill and you are being charged for $5 They show you the same item for $5 in another line in the menu, and even you show then you order the $4 item, they refuse to back off. Not so nice… Stayed also at the Moana O Sina resort. Much better choice!!!

Rooms are nice and clean, the food is excellent, the workers are super nice and very helpful! My kids enjoys the pool. Thank you to the management and staff for making our weekend getaway comfortable and relax.

The hotel is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. It has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the lobby is stunning. The food is excellent as well. The hotel offers a great workout area, a nail salon, and massage services, complemented by a small boutique featuring local items that represent the island's culture. The swimming pool is nice and warm, and I appreciate that the hotel is conveniently close to the airport. Their car rental service is a fantastic travel option, and the airport service helps with check-ins and check-outs, making everything very convenient. If you have any questions or concerns during your stay, don’t hesitate to ask the front desk or the bellboys in the lobby; they are excellent sources of information. Just a heads up: the hotel does not have an ATM, so please plan accordingly. However, there are ATMs and banks nearby as you explore the islands. I highly recommend checking out Tradewinds. I was very disappointed in the service. In emails, they were surprisingly curt and unhelpful. While staying there, I asked them to book me a one way taxi ride from the hotel to Fagasa Pass in order to do the Mount Álava trail. When I asked the front desk to check the cost, they told me the charge would be $50, but when I afterwards checked with locals, and confronted the front desk again, they confirmed it should’ve cost $35 tops. When I complained, management refused to take any responsibility for facilitating this swindle and claimed that they shouldn’t need to look out for their guests when they are acting as intermediaries, nor should they be aware of average taxi prices. They went so far as to tell me that I should’ve taken photos of the cab, as if it were my mistake to have trusted the hotel to book a reliable taxi in the first place. Additionally, when I asked about how to get back from Vatia after hiking, rather than go through any effort to find me a solid solution, they simply told me to ask a local for help instead once I got there. Ironically, the front desk’s refusal to help me themselves was one of the better (non)actions they took, and I ended up hitchhiking with a very kind family. WiFi costs an additional $5 a day. Although the rooms look clean on the surface, any closer look reveals layers of grime that have not been addressed, especially in the bathroom. The hotel is convenient to the airport and little else.

I recently stayed at Tradewinds Hotel and had an excellent experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally cozy, providing restful sleep each night. The hotel’s facilities, including the fitness center and pool, were well-maintained and easily accessible. I particularly enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which offered a diverse menu with delicious options for breakfast and dinner. Located conveniently near major attractions, Tradewinds Hotel made it easy to explore the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, comfort, and great location. Poor maintenance of the room. This is my family's first time staying at the far end rooms. There are holes on the wall. The shower floor is dirty. Only one bottled shampoo and soap. Table is half broken. Room was not available for a whole hour. In which the management said they will compensate by checking out at 2pm instead of noon. The air feels stuffy. I have nothing positive to say about this stay. So might as well stop here.

Room size was great. Employees were very friendly. Smells in the hallway and lobby were not the best- always smelled like cleaning products. Our trash was never emptied and we stayed there for 4 nights.

Good sized suite with all amenities we needed: kitchenette, shower with tub, king bed, tv, sitting room. Thought the bed was too soft and the pillows were not very good. Staff was friendly, continental breakfast was fair. Allowed us to leave our bags in storage until our night time flight.
