“Our host, Donna, greeted us and was so friendly! She wished me a very Happy Birthday. The home is beautiful and perfect for my friends. All of the beds were comfortable, and I loved the open concept from kitchen to great room. We had the most beautiful sunrise from the floor to ceiling windows from that great room. After our day at a local bar/restaurant, we throughly enjoyed the amazing massage chair in the lower level. ”

“The cabin was very clean and well furnished with modern appliances and bathrooms. Peaceful, private and quiet location. Everything worked flawlessly! The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. Exactly what we wanted. Went to Steelville for dinner about 10 minutes away and had a Jam Burger at Rich's Famous Burgers. Owner is very accessible and attentive as well! Would definitely book again! “Great getaway. Property is beautiful and peaceful. Lightning in the cabin is somewhat dim and the beds aren’t that comfortable, but look, it’s a cabin and not a 5 star hotel. Our kids loved it and it was just what we expected and hoped it would be. Hermann itself wasn’t that impressive. We prepared most of our meals and it is always a fun experience cooking on the open campfire, as well as s’mores. We’ll likely stay again. “This is definitely not your conventional vacation place to stay - a working farm, log cabin portions, modern kitchen appliances hidden in plain sight behind old farmhouse cabinets, eclectic decor that you can spend hours browsing and looking at so many unique items. But it was exactly what I was looking for and everything turned out very well. Thank you!”

“We reserved this home for a family reunion vacation. We had family visit from all over the country. When we arrived, we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Not only was the property huge, it was absolutely gorgeous. The home was beautifully decorated and was so cozy. The pool was perfect, and we loved kayaking and fishing on the pond.
