“It's a good value cottage in a good location just a few minutes from National Park and close to Whakapapa. It could do with a good spring clean, but you can't argue the price. Previous guests could've done more to clean like empty the bins properly, but overall would recommend and the description was accurate! Thanks for having us.”

“The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property ”

“Spacious comfortable two level property with views from the top floor lounge and kitchen/diner. Well equipped and in good condition. Good Wi-Fi, comfy bed. Good washing facilities. Very quiet - never heard anything from the next property which was attached. 15 minute drive from the Whakapapa Visitor Centre. Great homely and reasonable restaurant 10 mins walk away. Highly recommended”

When I could break through the AI chatbot that VRBO provides for feedback the owner was responsive and helpful. When I return to this property I will seek out the owner directly and cut out VRBO. Loved the property and highly recommend it highly.”

“Really nice spot in nature, clean and tidy house. David was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions.One thing would be another rental nearby so not completely secluded but we barely saw them so not a real issue at all!”

“This is a nice, comfortable place to stay. Very close to Whakapapa Ski Field, there are restaurants and a gas station close by. Our family also did a day trip to Ohakune and Waiouru, which is a short drive from this place.The house has a fully equipped kitchen, and bedsheets and blankets are provided (although the booking confirmation mentioned we need to bring our own). Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you!”

“We really enjoyed staying in the art house. A good welcome from Mark and good communication during the booking process. The house felt like home, had games and activities with plenty of outdoor space if we were travelling with grandchildren. We would definitely stay again when in the area ”

“We loved the house; spaciousness and location were good, except there was no snow :( Communication with the owner was quick and easy. However, instructions for cleaning/leaving were not given so there was some confusion about what we needed to do. We had noticed that there were some areas that had not been cleaned for a while, then met the person who came to change the beds and apparently that is all she does? So - clearer instructions please, we would have cleaned if we'd known we had to.”

“Great, good value house with plenty of amenities. Would have been good to have a smart tv to login to our Netflix etc. accounts and a little more space in the lounge. Our party was nine adults which was pushing the limits a little. A standalone dryer would also have been useful.”
