“Manitou Lodge is gorgeous! The lodge itself is amazing: rustic vibe with elk skins, lots of oversized furniture, games, books and big pillows. It would be perfect for a special occasion.If you are interested in the tent sites, number 3, 6, 7, and 9 are the largest and nicest in my opinion.I stayed at the Outback cabin which is the smallest cabin available. “The property is well maintained and very cozy inside. Comfortable beds and couches and a fully stocked kitchen if needed. It is well located to downtown and to the hiking and beach areas which made it a great location. The outside view is fantastic and so relaxing to sit outside by the river. No bugs which made it even better. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin if you’re in the area. ”

“We loved the location and facility was great! When I think of retirement, this is what I day dream about! I just wish I had brought some fly rods and did some fishing. Let me know if you ever decide to list this place for sale. ”

“This is a beautiful, well maintained property nestled on the banks of the Sol Duc river. The accommodations were very comfortable & offered all the amenities of home. Shelly, the owner, was very responsive to all our inquiries. This was the perfect place for our family of 8 adults to gather & enjoy the peace & quiet of the outdoors. We totally enjoyed our time at the cabin & visiting Olympic National Park. We would definitely consider a revisit in the future. ”

“This is a nice cozy cabin in a beautiful location, nestled in the woods and a good home base for visiting the west side of Olympic National Park. ”

“Quiet, peaceful stay right on the river (but no access to the river). It was the perfect place for exploring this side of Olympic NP. We loved sitting on the back deck and watching the river in the evenings. Communication with owner was excellent. Had everything we needed to cook meals and do laundry.”

“We were two families renting both tiny cabins on the property. For a group, this space is very private and serene. Note: if you book only one of the cabins, the two cabins are right next to each other, so it may not be the right fit if you're looking for privacy. Accommodations were comfortable, the kiddos loved playing in the loft. Kitchen was well equipped (note: no oven, just a tiny toaster oven—not for real baking). The campfire was nice and we appreciated the supplied firewood. Only had……

“It was a perfect location to stay. Such a cozy cabin but the best part was the secluded outdoors in the forest! The perfect ‘glamping’ experience for my family (two under two). Great location, easy to visit the three beaches and a great spot for coffee and lunch nearby. Would definitely stay again if we lived closer!”

"It was beautiful right next to the beach. Front desk staff were super nice! The only thing I have to complain about is the housekeeping. It was around 9:30AM when the housekeeper knocked and scanned her card without waiting for a response from us. She tried to come in and I screamed “ someone’s still in here” and she left. I didn’t care about it the first time but she came AGAIN in half an hour or so and tried to come in again. It would been a pleasant stay if the housekeeper was well managed and let them know which rooms are empty and not. Overall it was a good experience as for the location. "
