We spent four nights at the Grizzly Bear Tower, a perfect set up for a family. It is conveniently located between the ski slopes of White Pass and the restaurants in Packwood. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. All the kitchen appliances worked well. The cabin was well stocked with board games and DVD's. Our children and grandchildren enjoyed playing board games in the evening. Unfortunately, we were never able to figure out how to get the DVD player working. One of the selling points for us was having a cabin that would be good for guests with allergies, although we noticed a slight musty smell in one of the lower bedrooms. Our grandchildren loved the queen size bunk beds. The master bedroom in the loft was lovely with its territorial view through the massive windows, and we even enjoyed stargazing from our bed at night. This is a nice place for a family get-away trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. We only had a couple of issues. The other cabins around had outdoor string lights that made it easier to hang out outside on their decks, and we had one tiny strand of very dim Christmas lights at the front porch. There were a couple of other minor details but overall loved the cabin. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful extended weekend with our family here in late January. The split level worked perfectly for us as families had private space upstairs and down. When we arrived it was clean and nicely prepared for us with lights on and the gas fireplace was keeping the space toasty. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of place settings, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils. There was a gas grill that we used one night for cooking dinner. The large floor to ceiling windows provided a great view of the adjacent mountains. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We are planning on returning at some point in the summer.

We loved staying at Grizzly Tower - the house was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed as well as two amazing decks looking out at the trees and the mountains. Packwood was a small but cute town with a brew-pub and excellent coffee shop/bakery. We would definitely stay here again.

The Grizzly Tower was very nice, and exactly what we were expecting. Everything was clean and all set for our arrival. Most everything that we needed was provided, which made it super easy to pack for our ski trip to Whitepass. The location was really great, and the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. Fantastic Stay !!!!! This cabin was the perfect location for our visit to Mt Rainer. It had everything we needed and more than we expected. I cannot think of anything we did not have during our stay. This was a fantastic stay. This place had more amenities than were advertised. I usually bring extra stuff like dish soap, garbage bags, etc because most vacation rentals aren't well stocked. Well, I had no need to bring any of the extra stuff for this trip. Very well stocked, very clean, and if I return to Mt. Rainier, I will be staying at an Evolve property for sure.

This cabin was awesome and perfectly located if you want to hike around Mt. Rainier in several different areas. Nearby Packwood, only 3 miles south, had a nice grocery store, liquor store.and gas station.

Great base if visiting Mount Rainier, so nice to be close to the "not so busy entrance". When we were there the other entrance had a 3 mile backup to get into the park. The house was very functional. We had stayed in Packwood once before and this was the better house. Great deck (actually two) for hanging out as the sun went down. Would definitely return.
