“Cowlitz Manor was what we hoped for - perfect for our family of 4. The house is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Being on the Cowlitz river and being to cross the road and walk up to it as well as the view from the gigantic balcony and outdoor couches made for a soothing stay. The drive to the town of Packwood was super easy too as was our hike to Lake Packwood (highly recommend). The accessibility to Mt. Rainier Park (we visited Sunrise and……

“A calm and quiet space made for relaxing evenings after a day of hiking and exploring. Very nicely appointed and super comfortable! It was close to the downtown area where they had a grocery and several restaurants. The closest road to Mount Rainier National Park was closed so we had to drive around to the Nisqually entrance, which was about an hour away. Not too terrible as the ride through the mountains was beautiful! Thanks!”

“This place was huge and offered a quiet stay close to Packwood. Gas/grocery within a few miles. Nice fire pit and table with two separate hookups & trash can available. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Met the host and he was very kind as well”

“Really great accommodations. Very classy. Clean, roomy, very comfortable. Backyard is wonderful, fire pit, grill, and jacuzzi. Game boards, puzzles and playing cards for the family. Two TVs. Comfy furniture. Most importantly we had an emergency (hit a pot hole coming back from hiking and bent a rim, blew a tire) hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We are very grateful. ”

“Very nice place to stay, plenty of room, we were on motorcycles and just got done riding in the heat all day so stepping in to the house with the air conditioning already on and the house nice and cool was really nice, very much appreciated!”

“Nice cozy cottage. Debbie was a wonderful host. We couldn’t get the gas grill lit and she was there within 5 minutes to help us out. Kitchen was easy to prepare meals, lots of extras available to spice up the meals. Small but mighty shower! Great home base for exploring the Paradise side of Mt. Rainer. ”
