“We had a great time seeing all the sites near the New River Gorge area. This cabin was nice and cozy, very clean. Being able to turn the gas heater up a bit after being outside in the cool weather sure does warm the bones. Cabin is on a quiet dead end drive. Road is narrow and had a small washout from all the rain, my only complaint but not Toms fault.”

“Although about 5 minutes from Rt. 19, the location of the rental has a nice forest view from the deck with no neighbors in sight. The floor plan accommodated my group of five well and, upon arrival, the cabin was exceptionally clean- it even smell nice. If it is important to you, the outdoor are was every bit as nice as the cabin itself.”

We loved the open concept living, dining, kitchen area where we could all hangout and the 3 bedrooms where we could each retreat for "quiet time". Hurricane Helene rained down on us so we couldn't enjoy the porch or yard but it looked like a nice spot to hang out if the weather cooperates. While the property is close to town, walking on King Avenue is a little risky -- there are no sidewalks or even shoulders to get out of……

“I don’t always leave reviews but I do read them when booking and reviews were very mixed for this property so felt I wanted to leave one. Apparently there were issues with computer availability and actual availability but they did find us a room. (Maybe one they don’t use unless they have too). Room was suppose to have a sofa sleeper in living room area and only had 2 chairs. Room was clean but definitely in need of updates/repairs. Bathroom door didn’t close tight, cracked tile and chipped……
