"Lovely hotel in the heart of Painswik. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. This is a very old building, so there is no lift. We were on the top floor, so a bit of a hike. Probably not ideal if you have any mobility issues. The rooms are clean, but small(ish). The shower was awesome. ..."

"The village is absolutely gorgeous and the house is extremely clean and well stocked. There are many lovely touches, like logs for the fire, bread, butter, yogurt, cereals etc! I would definitely recommend this place for a long or short visit!"
