“The bach is a perfect spot for exploring Te Tauihu (the top of the South Island). Positioned on the beach at Pākawau, there is always a beach walk or birds to watch. The bach is a classic kiwi bach with sparkling new bathrooms and a small but perfectly functional kitchen. We loved opening the door to the lawn and beach and relaxing. It is a short drive up to Pūponga, the access point for Wharariki Beach and Cape Farewell. The Farewell Spit tour will pick you up from the road outside the bach……
