“We’ve been travelling around Portugal and Spain for the past month and have been staying at various hotels. (Beautiful countries but haven’t been impressed with customer service and staff at restaurants, hotels and stores compared to our country Canada). The service at this hotel is the best one we’ve received. Check in was very easy and the 2 gentlemen and porter who served us have been the friendliest, most professional and helpful. “The stay at the hotel was a great experience for our first time in Barcelona. We had the family connecting room, the room was spacious and comfortable. The main thing we have to mention is that the staff's service is excellent, especially the front-desk employee Gloria, she was our angel during our stay. “Our family of nine stayed here for three nights. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Has two elevators, nice terrace with a pool. The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds and clean. "This is an excellent location with excellent services! Have very good free breakfast 🍳, all our questions got answered by these very friendly staff at front desk! I travel a lot, and they are really the best! I think this should a at least 3 star hotel! Elegant with a few hundred years history. Very nice 👍, we are very pleased with our stay ! "

Decent hotel in a not quite safe neighborhood

"The hotel is located in an area with a lot of adultery workers and thieves, as we were warned by not one but a few drivers during the stay. The hotel itself is a decent one, we were welcomed by glasses of Cava however the front desk was a bit understaff as both the time we had to wait quite a bit to check in and check out. The bed is very huge which usually is a good thing however in this case it gets too huge and make the room feel a bit small, other than the above mentioned the overall experience is a pleasant one. Do keep an eye on your phones and wallets when you are in the neighborhood!"
