“Beautiful, quiet area to just relax and enjoy!”

“Classic Maine camp, beautiful area!Really enjoyed our stay! Only minor complaint would be the amount of cobwebs and bugs inside the camp.”

“The house was lovely and contained numerous thoughtful amenities. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our Great Pyrenees, and the proximity to the water (Dam Pond) was ideal. Sunsets were truly beautiful. One suggestion for future visitors would be a BBQ grill. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the owner, Elizabeth, was helpful and amiable. We would definitely consider a return. Our biggest problem was the 8-9 hour drive from NJ.”

“We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. “This was the cutest cottage for our first trip to Maine! We loved taking our dog for walks on the trails behind the house. There was plenty of wildlife and beauty right behind the house. This was the best place for birdwatching! We could hear the loons from our window at night, and we saw them in the lake a few times. “We had such a relaxing stay at this cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful, and the neighbors are friendly but respectful of privacy. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with essentials like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and large towels, which made settling in so easy. It’s a great spot for guests of all ages, and we truly felt at home. We’re already planning to book this cabin again next year!”

“This was our first time to Lake Megunticook and we loved it- there are endless ways to enjoy the lake, we paddled the canoe and kayak across to a picnic spot for lunch, we swam every day, and my young children waded in the sandy shallow portion to search for special pebbles and frogs.
