“The house was lovely but communicating with the owner was appalling. She never ever answered emails. Finally I had to call the website and at last located someone who could help and so I could arrange checking in etc. However there was no information available in the house about either workings of the house itself (lights, locks etc) or local contacts and possible places to visit (which would have been nice). The only time we met someone who appeared to know anything about the house and woman……

“This was our 2nd stay in Villa Varkoula. It’s a simple but lovely villa, with pool and great views of hills. Very peaceful. A joy to watch the swallows/swifts dipping down to sip from the swimming pool, a few sightings of an eagle and cute bats in the evening. A car is essential, but the town of Lixouri and several lovely and not too busy beaches are all within a short drive. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a base to explore the wonderful island of the Kephalonia.”

“Our family had a great experience for 7 nights at Avithos resort. super close to the airport (9 minute), excellent location! Room has a fully furnished kitchen and a welcoming balcony! pool area is super well maintained and has enough chairs for all guests! Food is amazing and super tasty (until 9 pm only). “Spacious and clean with daily visits providing a 'light' clean that left everything as it began. Great views across the inlet and easy viewing from the balcony as long as you do not mind the fairly busy road below. Drivers were mostly casual and considerate and could not be heard from within the property. Convenient location within a few minutes of the market square filled with restaurants and shops as well as the ferry to Lixouri, the second largest town on the island. All in all, we had a……

“Greg was easy to get hold of and thoughtful with his preparation of the house. The house was beautiful and, if anything, better than the pictures. The views from the house were stunning. Nataly couldn't do enough during our stay and was on hand throughout, with some great recommendations of places to visit and eat.It was easy to get to Fiskardo and other surrounding areas.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Morgorlwg Fila Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kefalonia! The location is excellent—just a short drive from the airport, close to grocery stores, and near some of the island’s most beautiful beaches.The villa itself is set on stunning grounds with great facilities and a strong sense of security. “Absolutely perfect holiday the villa was Beautiful clean well equipped. The most stunning view near to local shops and restaurants communication from Joanne was perfect even a thoughtful welcome package which got us started.
