“We booked via expedia. Since we expect ourselves to arrive later than check in hours, we have requested expedia to contact the park for late check in arrangement. The reply from expedia is asking us to contact hotel directly. We arrived the park 18:01 and the reception is closed. Without receiving any safe box code from expedia, we stand in front of the gate with wind and rain. Fortunately, we called and left message to the park’s after hours mobile, and Belinda (the property manager)……

“We stayed in lodge 5, which was a small drive to the main area. Property was clean, open, great for 2 couples. The cabin was amongst the horses. Fully functioning kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and BBQ on the porch which is a must.”

“The place was listed as a two bed room with Family room but in reality it was a 1 bed room where the second bedroom was also the family room and kitchen. There was an issue where the 1 bedroom door could not be closed without locking it and we did not have the key. Notwithstanding this , the room was clean and usable and the staff were very helpful and freindly.”

“It’s a hotel not a motel so if you want things like a hairdryer, water glasses or coat hangers you will need to pack them. But all the basics were well covered -comfortable bed, clean well appointed bathroom with plenty of hot water Staff busy but helpful Bistro downstairs had good pub food and on Saturday night a live rock band (which finished promptly at 12) Good value ”
