We loved the boutique feel of this hotel - stylish and thoughtfully designed with a lot of charm.
While the immediate surrounding area isn’t the most scenic, it’s within walking distance to the city centre, which made getting around easy.
We were a little disappointed with the room. From the photos, it looked like the larger rooms were featured, so we hadn’t realised just how compact ours would be. The open-plan layout, with the bathroom flowing into the bedroom, wasn’t quite to our taste either.
On a positive note, the rooftop area with the plunge pool was a real highlight - perfect for cooling off and relaxing. It would have been even better with a drink service up there, as you currently need to go down to the bar on the ground floor to order and bring drinks up yourself.
Breakfast was lovely - we especially enjoyed sitting in the small courtyard with a coffee each morning. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good value for the price we paid, but we don’t think we’d be in a hurry to return.
