“The entrance and lobby at this hotel are simply gorgeous, a real attention to detail makes this a welcoming environment. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the balconies are small, they do provide a lovely view. The solarium area and sunbathing spaces are ample and both pools were refreshing. The pool bar has lots of options and a nice food menu. Overall, having stayed in 5 or 6 hotels in the vicinity, Hotel Alay has proved to be my favourite and actually great value for money……

“Spacious apartments with large balcony. Walking distance to everything and 3 minute walk to the beach. Pool is clean and plenty of lounge chairs. Staff at front desk are very helpful.”

“Hotel and the people were lovely friendly helpful and very tidy hotel noisy at sometimes with the Roof garden parties which we wasn’t allowed up on the roof while the parties were there which was a shame because I thought we could go up there at any time and they did go onto 1 o’clock in the morning, which I think was a bit late Especially for the people on holiday but wanted to get to bed early so I could get up early to go and see other things, but apart from that, it’s a really lovely hotel”

“The staff was great at this hotel. They were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of options. The pool is really nice, and this hotel is right on the beach! The beach was amazing, and we walked back and forth between the pool & beach all day long. Also - Stephanie at the spa gives great massages! We took a taxi from the train station for $31 (Euro).”
