“All good, just troubles with check in - they let me wait until 2 pm saying that it is the time that the check in starts even though everywhere is written that it starts at 1 pm, very confusing and annoying to let you wait even though the room was already supposed to be ready!! No compensation for all the useless waiting kn the heat ”

“Situation idéale : à deux pas de la gare routière et de même pour la plage. Quand je suis arrivée, je n'ai pas eu la bonne chambre (ventilateur à la place de la clim). Il a fallu que je le fasse remarquer pour être dans la bonne chambre le lendemain. Mise à part qu'elles n'ont pas affronté le problème dès le début, elles ont bien géré la situation. Elles sont très sympas. Pendant mon séjour, il a malheureusement plu. Le bruit sur les tôles de fer était assez fort pour déranger. A prendre……

“Friendly staff good location We felt this property was very run down and we didn’t want to stay there as it was quite dingy and depressing Stuck it for 2 nights and moved elsewhere for another her 5 nights and enjoyed port Barton Shame as this place with a bit of TLC could be a little gold mine - as it stands it’s 70% empty ”

“Get off the shuttle and it's RIGHT there. Staff immediately arranged anything; laundry, fishing, kayak, scooters without ripping me off. It's a small town... everybody knows everybody, , know what I mean? Being cool wherever you stay will help you.”

“Marina Terrace (the restaurant) is beautiful for sunset and the couple running it, Kieran and Beth really make the place special. They are knowledgeable world travelers so we found kindred spirits. Kieran is an amazing chef who whipped up to die for risotto as good as we have had in Italy. They gave us great recommendations of where to go and what to do. This is an authentic local experience with few tourists. The town itself is very safe and close by there are some nice hikes and killer beaches……

The second we set foot on the sand an extraordinarily obnoxious and aggressive man / campsite owner said he would set his Rottweilers on us which kind of put the dampers on the day.”

“Lovely quiet resort right on the beachfront. The beach is very clean and clear. You are able to snorkel straight off the beach. There also is a small boat to hire. Delicious food at reasonable prices and fantastic sunsets. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Only cold water available, but not an issue in the heat. The room had a fan which was enough to keep cool at night. Lovely place. Highly recommended. ”

“There is no road for car to that villa. You have to park at the neighbor and walk through the dirty and small road and some temporary bridges that are made from a piece of wood or just small tree trunk. We reached there with a dirty room without water. ”
