We've stayed here before and everything was top-notch then. First off, I would have like to have known that the hotel was booked for the Panama Ironman competition. The place was crowded and noisy. Don't get me wrong, it's good for Panama, Marriott and its workers. But I would not have made reservations had I known. One elevator was out of service, leaving two to accommodate everyone. Yeah, packing the elevators with these folks carrying their bicycles became awkward. Our room was clean and fresh, yet there were some deficiencies. A couple of lights in the bathroom were either out or intermittent. And the coffee maker would start but never put out a cup of coffee. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, 10/10, whether you spoke Spanish or English. For the price we paid, I would expect everything to be near perfect.
TIP: Request a room on the airport side. It's actually quieter than the street side.
