I booked the megapolis on my 2nd trip to panama. I booked the oceanview suite with balcony. The 1st room was on the 15th floor, soon as we walked in i could smell mold extremelystrong . I noted in every hallway had humidifiers trying to absorb the hotel. They moved me to another room on 16th but no balcony. So eventually moved to 21st floor balcony room. Rooms are a bit outdated. Our toilet clogged once on the trip and our rain shower was nice however the drain did not function well, so your feet were covered with at least 2inches of water at all time. Also only 2 bath towels. No face clothes. They also provide soap, shampoo, condition and lotion They provided water and beer in the room. Which is changed daily. The complementary breakfast was ok. Best part fruit and omlete station but some limited choices for meats. We did a day at the pool, kinda quiet. They have a hot tub but was closed for maintence. Drinks at the pool are $10. And made well. The area of the hotel is right off the highway, which is quite busy for crossing the street The staff are friendly and polite. I stayed at the riu last time and had a better experience. Will not be booking this hotel again. Just an honest review due to the smelland wear and tear apparence

Great stay! Loved that it was nearby multiple malls and within walking distance to cheaper eats. Stayed during the Easter holiday so the area was quite quiet. Some of the equipment in the room (we were a group of 10 and stayed in two family 2-bedrooms) were a bit worn out or not working, but overall for the price and convenience I would still recommend it. Especially for larger groups.

The only thing i disliked is I left a couple things in my room by accident and called the property immediately as soon as i realized which was still prior to my approved checkout time and i still bave heard nothing back. 2 calls and 2 emails later and still nothing.

The language barrier in Panama makes alot of things difficult. Maid service came way early and if you asked them to come back later they never do. Wifi was so terrible, we were on data the whole trip. None of the rooms offered a microwave or kettle. And the refrigerator was not working. We requested someone check it twice and had no follow up so we just left it. The Bazaar restaurant staff were super helpful and breakfast was excellent. We were hoping to go to the rooftop bar Elevate but that was not opened at all. This hotel neither answer their listed phone number or return emails when we tried to contact them prior to arriving. However, we had no issues with checking in early and checking out late which was at a reasonable cost. Overall, excellent hotel with really good amenities. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
