The beach was beautiful and the staff was very nice at the front desk. The hotel is rundown, outdated and dirty. There was black mold in the bathroom and the boxspring on the bed were exposed and dirty. It was ok for a quick overnight stay.

We had a wonderful layed back stay. Loved the free coffee in the lobby and free drinkable water. Loved the complimentary pool towels. Loved the fact that the pools were open 24/7. The beach was wonderful. We walked to the Pier Park every day for dining and entertainment. Grocery store was just across the street, and a few restaurants. There was also a bus stop directly at hotel entrance (we didnt rent a car but could get anywhere using the bus). The hotel is onky 25 minutes from the airport. We also enjoyed the bonfires on the beach. Highly recommend ocean front rooms.

Upon entering our room we noticed it to be very aged and worn. There were absolutely no USB ports to be found. The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels, but there was no shower curtain. The units furnishing were worn and torn. There was no fan in the bathroom. The A/C unit was extremely noisy. The exterior of the building was run down and in need of a powerwashing. There was absolutely no service done on the room the entire 4 night stay, we had to continually go ask for towels. A few of the positive things. The pool was clean, clear, and warm. The hot tub was as well, although the nearby heater was putting off a strong exhaust smell. The beach access was perfect. And the view was beautiful. I definitely would not stay here again, as there are much nicer facilities for similar costs.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First of all, the room we got was not what we expected. They have a separate building across the street from the main hotel that they put us in which was not beachfront. The room was dirty, the toilet was not flushing properly because of low pressure, there was still trash that we found under the bed from previous bookers, the ceiling tiles were coming off, and some lights were not working. We asked for extra bath towels twice and each time they said they didn’t have any. The first time they just didn’t give us any towels, and the 2nd time they still didn’t have towels and gave us beach towels instead. The indoor pool was dirty and nasty it felt like a swamp. The pictures were false advertising. We were severely disappointed. I would NOT recommend staying at this cheap hotel. They also tried to tell me I didn’t pay for my stay when they had already charged my card when I checked in. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I’m surprised there weren’t any bugs.

I have been coming to Palmetto for at least the last 20 years. When Patti owned the property it was never dirty. Elevators were nasty, even our balcony had some trash when we arrived. The pool area and hot tub were not cleaned while we were there. Years ago, everyday one guy would take hose and at least wash them down. Didn't happen the 3 days we were there. Short guy did move chairs around and picked up trash. Didn't feel good about using either one. Love your place but not real happy about this particular stay.

This is our first night and we have NO complaints. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Our room is beautiful, clean and stocked. We have a full size fridge too! Cant wait to see what the rest of our stay here will be like!

I am so glad we stayed here! This is a great place for the cost. No issues with staff, all were kind and helpful. It is true that the drinks they had available at the bar were very random, not a full bar. I think that I thought there was like a cafe of some sort also before going, but I only saw ice cream there and no food menu.. so I'm unsure if you can get food on the premises other than the vending machines. Yes the property was dated but it was spacious and clean. I didn't understand why cleaning services didn't take care of the room on the 3rd day as it said in the paperwork. The room was spacious, the pool was warm and fun, the beach was beautiful and nowhere near crowded, and my son and I had a BALL! For this price and beachfront during spring break, I would absolutely do it again!
