This property is horrible we had roaches in our room took three days for maintenance to fix a light that never got fixed as well as a toilet that was broken and got fixed the night before we left never seen housekeeping and also no towels toilet paper the staff was rude I took pictures of the roaches front desk didn’t care the young lady that was the general manager was as rude as they come the hotel manager was not there when I asked to speak to him on Monday morning he was conveniently missing

I thought the property had many nice amenities. There was both in indoor and outdoor heated pool, along with an outdoor hot tub! Although it was particularly cold during our stay so we did not get to take advantage of all the amenities. The grounds were well taken care of - with a Caribbean vibe ! The beds were very comfy and the Junior Suite was nice. Overall it was accommodating enough. Also excellent elevator service . I would stay there again !!

Darlene was super outstanding! Several issues need to be addressed. #1. Our room was only cleaned twice in two weeks. (The second time after twice confronting cleaning personnel and three separate trips to front desk) #2 building is a little older & needs a little TLC. Examples, towel bar in tub was broken, hair dryer holder on wall was broken, air conditioner was extremely loud and did not appear to be properly seated in the wall as you could see outside all around the unit, rinse hose to wash sand off feet from beach did not work, tiki bar was never opened although we were given 3 supposed dates.#3 some desk employees were just plain rude and acted as if they had much better things to do than wait on customers. #4. Everything considered, we were considering possibly booking another stay for next year. But, after waiting over 10 minutes for desk lady to get off phone ( which sounded like a personal call) I was quickly informed there were no open reservations dates in 2026 for the month of February. We really liked our stay February 11th -13th so I booked the 13th-15th. The communication moving to a new room was lacking and we waited with all our things in the lobby. If we knew the room would take so long we could have made other arrangements. Very inconvenient. Other than that it was a lovely spot.

The location is excellent. Beachfront room was absolutely gorgeous. $14 resort fee was not disclosed at the time of Expedia booking .when I inquired about what’s included in resort fee, the answer was access to the pool, etc. Temperature was 40° and I don’t think they should’ve charged this. I requested for an hour late check out, but was denied.

Overall, we enjoyed our 3 week stay at Palmetto Beachfront Hotel. We had an end room with beautiful ocean view, double bed room with full size refrigerator. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Interior of room could use some updating, bathroom, carpet, etc. Dresser had several holes in top where TV had once been. Room and bathroom were clean. The housekeeping schedule seemed random, but front desk always accommodating to provide guest with towels, coffee packets, bathroom tissue, etc. Elevator interiors could use some replacement flooring. Overall, good experience, we would stay here again.
