I killed two roaches during my stay, floors were dirty and black mold forming at the top of the shower. It is in a good location though within walking distance of several things and wonderful beach access. Staff was wonderful also.

Older place that could use a coat of paint and a qualified maintenance man’s attention. Our a/c worked but many other’s did not. The staff was less than personable, not rude just dismissive (granted, it is Memorial Day weekend). A second hand high is guaranteed and make sure you bring WD-40 for the beds. The fitness area is great, but it looks an awful lot like 7 floors of stairs. The in room amenities are just as fabulous as you make them (because you’ll have to bring them yourself, along with breakfast.) I hope you’re short like me, because I’m fairly certain that the toilet came out of a preschool. Highly doubt that I’ll get my deposit back, but bless their hearts, they look like they need it.

The beachfront aspect of it is our number one reason on why we chose this hotel. Luckily we had no plans to spend time in our room other than to sleep, nor did we have to spend time in our room for more than sleeping. Though updates have been attempted at this hotel it has seen WAY better days. The dresser in our room had a drawer that wouldnt close. The floor in front of it was scratched almost black from people clearly moving it. The bed skirts had stains all over them like they hadnt been replaced after the last guests. Rust on the ceiling (we were on the 3rd out of 4 floors so why was rust on the ceilings?) The bathroom wasnt terrible but there were spider webs in the shower corner near the faucet and the toliet was clearly from the 90s as it was child sized. The toliet paper roll wouldnt stay in place (kept dropping to the floor) and there were shaving remanents behind the sink when we arrived. (Mind you we were both women, no men to leave beard shavings behind). The back door didnt close properly and had a weird lock to "keep us safe". The curtains were not centered, did not close all the way nor did they fully cover the windows. We also had what looked like an adjoining room door that didnt lead anywhere? We had a broken outlet cover inbetween beds, nor were there any outlets by the bed other than the broken one for the lamp. The other main outlet in the bedroom area wouldnt hold chargers they just kept falling out. Slamming entrance doors can be heard everywhere.

The room I was given was in poor condition. The floors were extremely dirty, the bed had sand in it, which shows they didn't have clean sheets on them, and the restroom was unhygienic to the point where I had to wear shower shoes. Additionally, the lighting was inadequate. I was also disappointed to find that the pictures on Expedia for this hotel didn't match the room I was assigned, which was misleading.

I’d give less than a star if allowed, please stay away, pictures are not truthful! I don’t know where all the 5 star reviews are possible, so run down! You could hear everything from outside, the lamps flickering, baby next door crying none stop, reminded me of the Resident Evil game! Also, the restaurant Sharky’s next door sucked!!!

The staff and beach access were amazing! As for room- only 2 outlets worked and they were slow. The room in the bathroom didn’t work so I could not use hair dryer which was attached to wall. The shower leaked water from shower head. The doors were not sealed so you could see light/sound through the doors.

The staff was great but the hotel itself needs a lot of updating for the price that is charged and for it to be a property right on the beach. They do not do daily cleanings, which I did not realize. That could have been mentioned in description and I did not notice. It wasn't that big of a deal. Towels and hand towels are provided but no wash cloths were provided.

We had to get switched to another room because the AC failed to work the first night. Instead on recompensing us for a ruined first night, they could only offer to move us from a 2 bed to a 1 bed. We have 3 kids and my wife is 7 months pregnant. The trip was good, nice walk to the beach, decent pool. Close to good food.

The location was nice and right on the beach. The toilet rocked so bad you felt like you would fall getting up and down. The floors were filthy, and bathroom floor and walls looked as if it hadn't been cleaned or repaired in years. The shower curtain fell off, every time you moved it. We had to rearranged the furniture so we could see the TV.

Love the location! Price is right on for the property, the electrical outlets are very dated and pushed in makes charging phones, tablet and Fitbit a little frustrating. This was an awesome week and I will definitely come back or decide to stay.
