Good: Location. Friendly and helpful staffs. Lodging price appears competitive. Poor: Overcharged breakfast price. Terrible: Old & rundown facilities. Room filled with mildew odor. Good & Terrible: Nightly very loud music from 6th floor's open bar until 1:30 am, it made sleeping difficult unless you are a hard rock music lover. The property manager probably should make this unique nightly music presentation feature be more aware of to the prospective customers.

Overpriced for what you get. The “small” rooms are just big enough to fit a bed and the accommodations and bathrooms felt run down. The bedding smelt like mold and the AC did not worked. They run a rooftop party every Friday and Saturday which you can hear from the room, which is fine if you plan on joining but would be hard to sleep through. The staff, coworking area and wifi was the great.

The hostel is okay, the ladies only dorm a little bit better than the mixed one. The lockers for valuables in front of the reception for your own personal valuables are either brocken or are about to break. There are lockers in the room as well. At night it was very loud and I missed more shelf’s or hooks in the room. The location is okay, walkable to the old town. As in most hostels the kitchen is… okayish.

The Selina hostel in Panama City is not only beautiful, but located in an ideal spot conveniently close to stores, restaurants and historical sites. My stay was an absolute pleasure.

If you’re staying here Friday or Saturday, do not expect to sleep til 5am. Not only does the party go into the wee mornings, but you’ll constantly hear taxis honking at the traffic. Then you’ll start to hear it again at 6:30am everyday when people wake up for work. The room was dirty. The A/C constantly leaks and makes a puddle and this creates mold which you can smell. The saving grace was the walking tour by Jordi. Nice guy. The San Blas tour was a waste of time and money. Do it with another tour group. Selina’s has a terrible San Blas tour. They keep you waiting at every stop, you end up only getting to spend 4 hours for a 14 hour day. 6 hours driving and 3 hours of waiting around and the last hour is the time it takes for the boat to go to the island.
