“The room was freezing, they claimed there is central heating. In fact there was only an air-conditioner with the maximum temperature output at 32 degrees Celsius which the weather reported between 3c to 7c even during daytime. “The hotel is close, about 10 minute walk to old town and a straight but longer walk to house of parliament. Bucharest is huge so hard to get a hotel close to everything. Anyway Mercure urinii staff were incredible from the start. I had five days before a tour I was on started from same hotel. They made it so easy to stay in my room rather than change. Allowed me to keep a bag in storage until I returned. And if you want a chat check Louis out in the hotel bar. Breakfast is plentiful……
