The rooms were nicely updated with lots of space and amenities. The reception staff were kind and helpful when we wanted to store our luggage for the day before going to the airport. Couldn’t be any easier to get to the ferry. We also enjoyed the ReefTop bar.

Great place to stay for one night or possibly more because it’s got a microwave and dishes included in the room. We stayed for one night before our ferry ride over to Moorea and it was so convenient! The ferry is literally right across the street. Food at the hotel is incredible and reasonable cost! Only downside was the motorcycle racing and partying outside of the hotel at night.

Friendly helpful staff. Large comfortable room. We stayed post cruise and were able to store our luggage til check in. We enjoyed beautiful dinner and casual breakfast on property.

The property was clean, right next to the ferry and only 10min from the airport. There was a coffee shop downstairs, a rooftop bar and restaurant. I enjoyed the stay. The only negative is that there was no shower. Only a tub, but it was nice and relaxing.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. If you value your sleep do not stay on the ocean side or the top room floor of the property. Every morning at 6 am you will be greeted with the sounds of a leaf blower from the ferry station across the street. It is also along a main road so you will hear any road noise or people in the bars just outside at night. The real kicker was when they hosted a wedding in the restaurant on Saturday night. The band started at 8pm and played for 4 straight hours. Our entire room shook the entire time and the best the staff could do was assure us that it would be over soon. We checked out early because of how little sleep we were getting.

This hotel is an ideal location if you are cruising as it is close to the cruise port. Breakfast was delicious and our room was very spacious.

Attention, bruyant !! Boîte de nuit contre l’hôtel, les vibrations des basses sont gênantes pour ceux qui veulent dormir, ce qui était dans notre cas la prestation recherchée. En plus, pour nous ce soir la pas de restaurant car c’était privatisé pour un mariage, assez bruyant aussi jusqu’à une heure du matin, avant que la boîte de nuit ne prenne le relais jusqu’à 5 heures. We spent a total of 6 nights at the Kon Tiki before and after a cruise. On first arriving in the middle of the night there was a mix-up with our room category which the reception staff could not fix without the manager's approval. Instead of an ocean front room we were given a room at the back with a view over a container depot. This was not the fault of the hotel but Expedia who provided incorrect information about our booking. Upon speaking to the manager the following day we were moved to a very nice room with a view over the harbour. The manager was extremely helpful and rectified the problem promptly. On our return to the hotel following the cruise we were treated to a free buffet breakfast which we assume was by way of compensation for the mix-up. We ate almost all our meals either in the cafe on the ground floor or at the restaurant on the 7th floor. The cafe was delightful and provided high quality light meals and good coffee. We enjoyed nightly drinks on the terrace outside the restaurant and excellent food from the tapas menu. The restaurant manager was very charming and helpful. All hotel staff were excellent. The hotel is opposite the ferry terminal, and it is a short walk to the shipping terminal from where our cruise departed. The immediate vicinity of the hotel was a little underwhelming but we were able to walk to the market, a pharmacy and a supermarket. Any downside was more than compensated for by the excellent quality of the hotel and its convenience.

Great location if you are coming in a couple days early for a cruise. The docks ans ferry terminal is right across the street. Also, plenty of dining options nearby and the marketplace is just a few blocks away.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location, opposite the Ferry Terminal, came in handy for the Moorea leg of our trip. The room was excellent, modern and clean. Would definitely recommend and we would stay there again.
