“Family and friend wee holiday to parapara We loved the house , it was perfect for our large group. Nice and warm, comfy bedsBeautiful viewsVery quiet street , which made it safe for kids who were coming and going to the playground conveniently located right across from the house Lovely big area , lots of seating Was a bit nervous about reading a few reviews about downstairs being cold and damp but it was fine. Lots of heaters in all the rooms I did notice a highchair and Baby bath etc which……

“We had a wonderful stay at this special spot in Golden Bay. The views of the estuary and bay were absolutely stunning, with ever-changing light and beauty throughout the day. The location is perfect—close to Collingwood and Farewell Spit, yet peaceful and secluded. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the shower was one of the best we've experienced.A highlight was listening to Ruru calling at night and watching a lightning storm move across the bay after dark—an unforgettable experience.……

“We had a lovely, relaxing 3 nights in Parapara beach. The bach is right on the beach with stunning views all the way to Farewell Spit. It was dog friendly and we met lots of nice people on the beach with their dogs!”

“The communication about the layout of the property could have been better. There is no internal access to the downstairs rooms. There is no WIFI - in this day and age - you really should have WIFI (especially for when the weather is inclement in Golden Bay - which is often is). The TV is just a screen to play DVD's - there is no channel service. We weren't told you can't drink the water until the morning we got the check-in instructions - it was Easter Friday - so we couldn't buy bottled……

“We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. ”
