As an old hotel, all was very good. I recommend against trying their breakfast, which was bad. A restaurant around the corner offered lots of good choices.
The short, balding Frenchman at the front desk was extremely helpful, solving a problem for me about the Louvre, courteous, always helpful.
The room was very quiet, had a fridge, kettle, corkscrew.
The avenue nearby had many choices for restaurants, groceries, etc. The Louvre, Eglise Saint Eustache and many other fine places in easy walking distance.
