Deteriorated furnishing and bad room conditions
The hotel location is just 3mins walk from the Gare du Nord train station, which links directly with the CDG airport via the RER B line. But the room condition was really bad, especially the acoustic insulation. I can hear different noises at night. The room furnishing was old and deteriated a lot. It is in big contrast from those photos shown online. Very disappointing when you finds large patch of dirt on the carpet, scratched wall paper and dents at the bath tub. Besides, the TV screen is quite small and the room has only 1 wall socket outlet that I can plug my laptop charger!

酒店的位置近巴黎北車站，搭完Eurostar 和之後搭去戴高樂機場，推住28kg的大行李箱，我只用了5分鐘就去到酒店。而要去羅浮宮，或巴黎其他景點，只要從酒店行去Poissonniere站大概8分鐘，便可搭地鐵。不過晚上行這條路會比較靜，只有幾間士多仍未關門。酒店有小型升降機，只放到我和我的大行李箱。房間的雙人床算大也舒適，但房內的地方不多，我要移開書枱才有足夠空間打開行李箱。房內只有插頭位1個，要向酒店借拖板。沒有雪櫃電熱水壺，沒有牙刷牙膏，有即棄膠杯做漱口杯和水杯，有包裝的2合1淋浴洗頭露。企缸沒有浴簾或門，雖然花灑可以拎下來用，但每次沖涼洗頭也無奈弄濕企缸以外的地方。如果有浴簾，或花灑裝置可調較角度，會比較好。房間設備是比較老舊，但我能在出發前10日住到位置好的酒店，已經覺得很好。

Wir haben jeweils eine Nacht vor und nach unserem Disneyland-Trip in dem Hotel verbracht. Das Hotel ist fußläufig vom Gare du Nord erreichbar und wir wurden immer freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen. Auch für Ausflüge innerhalb Paris liegt das Hotel, auch durch die Nähe zum Bahnhof, gut. Bei dem günstigen Preis sollte man allerdings keine große Erwartungen an die Zimmerausstattung haben. Für die reine Übernachtung aber aus unserer Sicht völlig ausreichend.

The hotel is in a great location, making it an excellent base for exploring Paris. However, the overall experience was very basic and outdated. My room (Room 25) had several issues. The TV didn’t work, though this wasn’t a major problem. The biggest inconvenience was the lack of power outlets—there was only one plug, located by the door rather than near the bed. This made charging devices inconvenient, and the loose socket felt unsafe. The bathroom design was poor. The shower had no screen, causing the entire bathroom to flood after each use. This made the floor slippery and inconvenient. The bed was clean but very hard, making it difficult to get comfortable. Another issue was the keycard policy—you have to return it to reception every time you leave, which made me anxious about leaving valuables in the room. While the location is excellent, within walking distance of major attractions, the lack of comfort and outdated facilities make it hard to recommend. If you only need a basic place to sleep, it works. However, if you’re looking for a comfortable stay, this is not the place. I would not stay here again and would choose a better alternative next time.

The rooms lacked basic amenities. The TV was extremely small, and the pillows were practically non-existent. I usually use a second pillow between my legs for comfort, but here, the pillows were tightly wrapped in the sheets, making it impossible to separate them. The staff were friendly though.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond regarding hot drinks in the evening and looking after our bags after checkout. Worth the price you pay. Just worth noting that the only mirrors are in the bathroom, and there are only about 3 plugs in the room, mostly in inconvenient places. Apart from that though the room was lovely and in an ideal location with lots of good restaurants around!
