We absolutely loved this hotel. It was modern, clean, and about 300 feet from the Metro. The neighborhood was quiet and a nice retreat from the mass hysteria of tourists. There were a couple bistros at the end of the street and a vegan boulangerie around the corner. We walked to the Palais Garnier in less than 15 minutes.
The staff was helpful and friendly. We spoke a little bit of French but everyone there spoke English to help us through. We ate breakfast a couple times there and enjoyed the portions and selections which appeared to change daily. It was a great value for the price.
One of the things that really stood out was the honor bar and rooftop terrace. At night we were able to come back, grab a bottle of wine from the bar and take it to the rooftop for a quiet and cozy view of the neighborhood and rising moon. The honor bar itself is a nice setup, too. There are seats at the bar, by the window, and the mezzanine. Maybe they had music earlier in the evening, but there wasn't music while we were there. If there were background jazz music at a low volume, it would have been perfect.
The room was spacious and ours had three windows that opened out to the courtyard. Very high ceilings (we were on floor 1) and the bathroom was spacious, as well. The staff respected our privacy sign the whole time without question, enabling us to come back to the room during the day for refreshers and naps without bumping into housekeeping.
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel.
