I loved the hotel. Its staff were very pleasant and always willing to help. The room had everything we needed. With a nice big tub to soak in and relax. It also had a towel warmer and we were provided with bathrobes. I could not think of a better area to stay in. Lots of restaurants and boulangeries at different pice points It's an easy walk to Notre Dame and Louvre, and metro.

The location was really good and the neighborhood is pleasant to walk. Unfortunately, the room had a funky smell of mold, the shower lacked pressure, and the water was cold most of the time. We and other guests reported the lack of hot water to the reception.

staff was super nice. If it wasn't for the 5 stars, I would give 6 stars. On the night of arrival, my bag was left on the Uber. I don't speak French, the gentleman at the front desk helped me make phone calls, and was patient and friendly, which made me feel very good. The gentleman at the front desk who I met later was also very friendly and helpful. On the day of check-out, he also helped me store my luggage for free for a period of time. There are many restaurants nearby, and it is also close to Notre Dame and the Seine River, which is quite convenient. Talking about the imperfect places, the room is relatively small, but considering the location and price, it is acceptable. The drinking water provided in the glass bottle in the room should be tap water. The two of us drank half a bottle and had diarrhea. I can't say that it must be the problem of the bottle of water, but just what happened that day. There was also a fire alarm that woke me up before I got up in the morning. On the way downstairs, a guest told me that someone was smoking. There was no hot water from the second day. It was said that the equipment was broken and could not be repaired in time during the weekend. no shower for two days. However, the hotel took the initiative to give a partial refund when checking out, so it seems that the hotel's operation is still trustworthy. I arrived at 9PM and I was told the hot water tank was broken and they could not provide hot water. I have prepaid the room for two nights, and I was traveling with two young kids. What frustrated me was if it was me who did not show up, they would charge me anyway. But when it was the hotel's problem and they failed to fulfill their committment, they only need to do a refund. No penalty at all. It is absolutely unfair. I requested them to provide one-night room fee as a compensation for all the incovenience it costed me. But they did not.
