We booked two rooms and arrived and received two keys. When we walked into our room someone else was there. This made us and, I am sure more them, feel very unsafe, knowing anyone can be given a key and double booked into our room. When we told them they then gave us a room very far away from each other, in another building which was difficult with young children.
The Ac did not work in our rooms, they offered a fan and then retracted the offer as they didn’t have one. When we arrived no one helped with our bags, it felt very unpleasant and unfriendly, I felt really embarrassed struggling with all our stuff not sure where to go and eventually one person helped us. He was very lovely and appeared to be doing everyone’s job whilst 5 other people stood behind reception looking confused and unfriendly.
I also realised too late that we were charged tax on arrival even though we had already paid it via Expedia. It is impossible to get hold of them to organise use a refund, I have emailed, Whatsapped, called and messaged via Expedia and I haven’t got anywhere with this.
