The rooms at this resort are really pretty and with the loft room it was a great size for a large group. The staff was all really nice and the "free" rides to nearby amenities were a nice perk. However, I felt like it was ridiculous to only get 1 parking pass for a group of 8 people, especially in off season when the parking lots were empty. At $25 for an extra pass, that really adds up. Also, it wasn't mentioned on the hotel website that the pool was closed for resurfacing. They do allow you to go next door, but I booked this hotel specifically for it's pool. Had I realized it would be closed, I would have gone somewhere else.
Further, construction was going on outside until about 7:30 pm and started up at 6:45 am on Sunday morning. I work in construction, I get that they have tight deadlines, but listening to the constant drone of beeping and slamming into rocks first thing on a Sunday morning was extremely unpleasant and ruined the ability to enjoy sleeping in even a little bit and/or sitting out on the decks to enjoy the pretty views.
If you have kids, there's not much for them to do in off season, so I'd recommend either planning activities or going farther into Park City where there's more to do. And be aware that when you check out they charge you a resort fee. I wasn't expecting that when booking through Expedia. Maybe it was mentioned earlier, but I hate checking out and having fees added when I think I already paid everything upon reserving.
