“My three old friends and I had a relaxing, peaceful weekend in this beautiful cabin in the woods. Only the sounds of nature accompanied us as we sat around the fire pit and reminisced. When we first arrived we found out from the owner they’d been made aware of the hot water heater not working as it should. They had maintenance come while we out for dinner, and by the time we got back, everything was fixed and the hot water was fine. It was truly impressive with how swiftly they took care of the……

“My son stayed there (as a gift from me) with some of his fellow 2025 highschool graduates. So I cant give personal witness. It is now 12:30pm on (11am) check out day.. hes now back in our area and I called him to ask (if he cleaned up and did his dishes etc…? for one) but also to ask how it was was it good “yes” and “thank you, again” that’s about it (which is his normal teenage hard to get a rise of excitment out - verbally) and what simple yes I personally know to equal - an unspoken- OMGosh……

“The Charlotte was the perfect place to stay! I can not say enough about how relaxing our trip was, being able to stay here. It was so peaceful and clean and had everything you would need! The cabin was beautifully decorated, and the added touches made it feel cozy. . The view is beautiful. Daniel responded quickly, and available if there were questions. We were close to Johnson shut-ins, elephant rocks and many other places to explore. Coming back and relaxing in the outdoor area was just what……

“Easy to book; friendly staff; keycard entry; clean cabin and porch; quiet; grounds well kept; kitchen had all needed items ( maybe add a toaster) ; screened in porch ; air and fan. Good cell reception , pretty lake ; good location ”

“Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! (So many orchids!). Keith was an awesome host filling us in on everything - even the surrounding area. The walking paths are beautiful and serine. The additional 5 canine hosts were adorable and Mici I'm so sorry you didn't spend at least one night with us! I wish we would have been able to stay longer……

“Staying at this tiny home was such a peaceful escape. From the moment I arrived, the view felt like stepping into a painting. Rolling fields stretched out endlessly, and every window opened to a calming scene of nature. “We had such a wonderful four days at the cabin. Our neighborhood goes crazy on the Fourth of July. This was a great escape for us - some fireworks nearby but much more manageable for us. It’s off a gravel drive with very friendly neighbors. Our pups all loved to run the land and hang out on the wraparound porch. The property is as described and was perfect for our small group. My husband and I took our dogs on a great hike to Hughes Mountain in nearby Leadville. We would stay here again. ”
