“GPS does not take you to the cabin. Use a real map or ask locally for directions. Cabin is just as it looks in the pictures. Had a nice dinner cooked on the provided charcoal grill. Plenty of towels and extra blankets were provided. Had a minor issue but help was on the way immediately. Will definitely be back again soon. ”

“I had such a great time staying at this cabin! The host was super communicative and made everything really easy. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The best part was how close it was to the water—just a short walk away! There are communal tubes for tubing nearby. We relaxed on the spacious viewing deck with amazing views all around.This cabin was the perfect spot to unwind and have some fun. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. “ Immaculate home on a quiet country lane. Each morning you could watch the deer in the field across the road. I wish we could have spent more time there but our visit was for a family reunion just down the road. As shown in the photos there is a beautiful backyard with firepit and hot tub. Oakland and Deep Creek Lake is nearby and less than an hour away is Blackwater Falls, WV and the quirky towns of Thomas and Davis. Don't miss the music at The Purple Fiddle!
