“**Peaceful Stay in a Beautiful Setting** We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Swiss Mountain Village in Blowing Rock, NC. The property is beautiful and peaceful—tucked away in the mountains with a charming, rustic feel. Our accommodations were cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing night. We were only passing through and stayed just one night to break up a long drive, but it was a great choice. Even though we arrived after check-in and left before staff were on-site,……

“Great place and great location. This was our second stay at Riverbend Retreat and it was as good as our first.”

“The cabin was as described, was clean and well-equipped. Only negative, and it was not the fault of the property, was that there was a lot of work being done on the river which caused it to be quite silted while we were there. We made the best of it though and enjoyed the visit. ”

“ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.”

Very comfortable glamping just keep in mind nice glamping but not a air conditioning hotel but this is life changing for me, had lost my father past year came here last week after staying few nights I decided this is where I would like to be, Went out bought me a big RV and now looking for a place around here to park it!
