“Sehr preisgünstiges Quartier am Rande der Innenstadt von Saumur; sauber, geräumig, nettes und freundliches Personal. Allein das Bett war schmal und kurz - dennoch habe sehr gut geschlafen. Das extra zu bezahlende Frühstück war eher bescheiden.”

Seul bémol, la propreté du logement qui laisse à désirer ( toiles d'araignées et araignées...), terrasse très sale notamment. un effort serait bienvenu sur ce dernier point. Nous reviendrons! ”

“After seeing mixed reviews I had been concerned but for the price we paid this place is amazing. We were lucky to have been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apt, which I would book first time if we came again as see that the one bed would be small for 4. It had everything we needed (except a fan) Like everyone else who stayed whilst the weather was around 35 degrees, we struggled with the heat and no air con, had to sleep with the bedroom door open (we had a ground floor apartment but it felt safe). It……

“Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Running this place is not easy but the family are doing their absolute best as custodians. They are fully dedicated and committed to making Chateau de Candes a success. Merci Bertrand et Sam.
