“The Turtle House was a retreat somehow secluded in a little neighborhood near the beach. What a great location for an Ishee house! We were in awe of the architecture before finding out its history and who designed it and even more after researching this great designer. Dian was a very gracious host answering all the questions we had and even giving us the lay of the land. We were able to continue our late night walks with our dog with peace of mind in the quiet neighborhood and food is just a……

“The cottage was clean and had a well stocked kitchen but we were disappointed that the front porch was not available to us as it was being replaced. Instead, we used the back porch but since there is a house being built in the backyard we found it to be a bit noisy and lacked privacy due to the construction crew. We liked the location and once these construction jobs are complete the cottage will be quite enjoyable. ”

“We were looking for a "last-minute" get-away that we could both enjoy...and this place was perfect! Maria was so helpful in getting us all setup and booked when the App wouldn't accommodate our "last-minute" plans. It was great to be able to sit out on the wrap-around deck and watch the Gulf and the Bayou inlet. The fishing on the dock was fun...lots of bites and caught some fish! Very relaxing and quiet...enjoyed our stay! Will definitely be going back! ”

“Very comfortable and great location. Owner takes care to meet travelers needs/ wants (complete kitchen, night stands in the master, great bathrooms, ping pong table and room for 4 kids in the kids room). Will come back for sure. ”

“Communication with host was excellent as was the check in and out process. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is beautiful with a magnolia tree, pine tree and wisteria in full bloom hanging over the fence (which is in need of repair—stated in listing). It was easy walking distance to the beach—approximately 0.5 miles to the middle beach parking lot and another 0.4 miles to the water’s edge. It is a quiet neighborhood. The floor had not been swept well prior to us……
